Job description

WARNING: This is not your typical recruiting job.

Are you an unstoppable force of nature who thrives on hustle, constant travel, and high-energy environments? We're seeking two dynamic college recruiters to join our mission of finding the brightest CS/ML minds from Stanford and MIT for a one-of-a-kind summer program.

This role is for those who treat "impossible" as a dare, organize like it's a competitive sport, and feel completely at home on a college campus. If you're energized by meeting new people, building connections, and living out of a suitcase while shaping the future of tech, this is the job for you.

The Basics

  • $75,000/year + all travel covered
  • Full-time
  • Based in Austin, TX (with extensive travel to Stanford and MIT)

You Might Be Our Ideal Candidate If You

  • Have infectious energy that lights up every room you walk into.
  • Stay relentlessly organized while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Laugh at the word "impossible" and thrive on challenges.
  • Love campus life and engaging with students.
  • Feel at ease connecting with everyone from student leaders to coding enthusiasts.
  • Find constant travel invigorating and exciting.

What You'll Be Doing In 2025

  • Jan–May: Travel to Stanford and MIT, running high-energy recruitment campaigns, organizing events, and building relationships with top CS/ML students.
  • June–Aug: Support the summer program participants, ensuring their experience is seamless and productive.
  • Sept–Dec: Use the insights from your first recruiting cycle to amplify your impact for the next one.

If you're still reading and thinking, "This is literally me," apply today!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading vibrant on-campus recruitment campaigns to attract top CS/ML students.
  • Engaging with students, faculty, and university organizations to build lasting connections.
  • Managing a talent pipeline with energy and precision to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Traveling extensively between Austin, Stanford, and MIT to execute recruitment events and build relationships.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Spending your days sitting in a quiet office.
  • Working a standard 9-to-5 schedule.
  • Recruiting without leaving your comfort zone or engaging directly with students.

College Recruiter Key Responsibilities

Recruit and build a pipeline of 100 top-tier CS/ML students from Stanford and MIT through vibrant on-campus engagement and dynamic relationship-building.

Basic Requirements

  • 1+ years of college recruiting or university admissions experience with proven success in high-volume candidate engagement
  • Track record of consistently hitting aggressive outreach and conversion goals
  • Strong portfolio of successful recruiting/marketing events
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects with measurable targets
  • Experience using ATS/CRM systems to track candidate pipelines
  • Based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate
  • Ability to travel up to 75% during peak recruiting season (January-May, Aug-Nov)
