Job description

This is a remote position.

The Unmutedco team is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Intern to join our Programming Team Remotely.


The Unmutedco Digital Media Internship program is a high functioning, highly visible and high intense role.  The role now covers the Unmuted Digital Media programming holistically and Media interns may work in any capacity in the UMCO global media practice.  Traditionally, the program has been split between copy, news and radio interns.  Today, the program spans our digital radio and television properties, NoirTube and NoirPlus+ (an SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) service that gives the consumer access to the UMCO media family of services (NoirTube Music, Unmuted TV, NoirTube Audio) unrestrictive to platform.


This is an exciting opportunity as part of a strategic priority for the Company and growing digital subscription business, forming the future of the direct to consumer experience, which will engage guests of all ages.

  • Analyst / Sourcer, Live Production, Live Show, Live Remote
  • Research, Review, Schedule & Book Talent, Guests & Interviews
  • Interface Media, Production & Marketing Teams
  • Assist Executive & Associate Production Management
  • Coordinate live events, business trips and administrative meetings or events
  • Complete Audio & Video Certification (60 Days)
  • Duties as required


The Programming Intern will have to support the programming team in the day-by-day activities.


Reporting into the Programming Senior Manager, the programming intern will help the team to guarantee the subscriber the best of the experiences. They will be involved in reviewing the content that is going to be launched in the platform and will support the team throughout the different stages of the building of our editorial calendar, the main output of our programming department, the basic tool for the work of all the other departments.

Other activities include (but may not be limited to): live show production, editing, visualizations, marketing and on-air responsibilities.



Requirements
  • Active Social Media Presence
  • Social and technical aptitude (use of Microsoft Office Suite, email and video chat)
  • Knowledge of media mediums (traditional, terrestrial and digital)
  • Knowledge of digital media mediums
  • College students must need college credit or will not be eligible
  • Non-college students will require references
