What you can expect to do here:
Assist with railway operations projects, contributing to the development of simulation models
Conduct simulations to analyze system behaviour, provide insights and recommendations
Develop tools to automate simulation processes and analyze outputs, improving efficiency and accuracy in model development and validation.
Assist in creating detailed analysis outputs, technical reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving activities to enhance the overall performance and user experience of our transportation solutions.
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients in the implementation and application of simulation models
What you’ll bring to WSP:
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field).
Strong background in programming languages such as Python, VBA, or Java.
Experience with data analysis and simulation tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong motivation to build tools for automating processes and analyzing outputs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
