As a member of the inside sales team, you deliver sales techniques and tools designed to assist the sales team in prospecting new business and developing customers. You play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to our clients throughout the sales process. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs, communicate product capabilities, and offer tailored solutions that meet their requirements. This positions is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
What You Bring To The Table
Technical Expertise
Develop customized solutions by mapping customer requirements to product capabilities, working closely with internal teams such as product development, engineering, and operations to ensure feasibility and alignment.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's technical products or services.
Address technical inquiries, challenges, or concerns raised by customers, providing comprehensive and accurate information to facilitate decision-making.
Propose, design, and present technical solutions that address the business and technical requirements of customers.
Relationship Building
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including technical decision-makers, engineering teams, and project managers, to build trust and credibility, and drive customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling sales proposals, technical documentation, and quotations that accurately represent the solution, pricing, and implementation timeline.
Provide technical support and assistance during the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition from the sales phase to successful deployment.
Sales Support and Strategy
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, develop technical sales strategies, and provide pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.
Gather and analyze customer needs, pain points, and technical challenges to propose effective solutions that address their unique business needs
Support business development and sales by collaborating with customers to determine their technical and business requirements.
Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, documenting leads, opportunities, and follow-up activities using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Essential Skills And Qualifications To Be Successful
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or diploma in Engineering Technology.
Experience in customer service role or sales environment an asset.
Adept at learning and adapting to new technologies.
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast-paced and changing environment.
Ability to cultivate lasting business relationships.
Ability to work harmoniously in a team as well as autonomously.
High energy level and willingness to take on new challenges.
Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and make a strong impact on the business.
Strong communication skills
