Job description

Position Overview:

The Regional Social Media Coordinator supports the marketing efforts of a portfolio of outdoor resorts located throughout the United States. This role will be responsible for developing and executing social media, in addition to supporting promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives related to the group.

The position will report to the Regional Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with General Managers and property staff, Revenue Management, and Corporate Marketing team to develop campaigns and communications that are aligned with the resort’s business goals. The ideal candidate will be an impeccable communicator as they will work frequently with remote colleagues.  This is a remote position with some travel required. 

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate/manage social media and help support marketing efforts for EOS Outdoors properties
  • Create social media content calendars for properties within outdoor hospitality portfolio. Work with General Managers, Activity/Event Managers, and other property contacts on topics and content needs. Work with Marketing Manager as applicable on overall brand strategy.
  • Writing and proofreading copy for social media
  • Work with Marketing Manager on content needs for paid social media campaigns and help execute paid social campaigns where needed
  • Train staff on-property to develop on-property staff to utilize for things such as: taking photos, doing Facebook lives, sharing event info, etc.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the internal Marketing staff to understand business/marketing objectives and ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist in maintaining internal marketing materials as assigned (i.e. image library)
  • Work with influencers as opportunities arise
  • Assist with website updates and social community management as needed
  • Cross-train on email marketing and support portion of portfolio when needed
  • Contribute to month-end reporting needs as requested
  • Be familiar with property amenities / restaurants / services as well as notable attractions
  • Assist in the development of advertising material as needed
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

 
Job Requirements:

  • Good time management & organization skills are essential
  • Strong written communication skills for publishing a high-volume of social media content
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask to meet deadlines in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A firm grasp on various social media & marketing platforms, best practices, including experience with social media publishing software and social content creation
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Canva, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (and other Microsoft programs)
  • Proficient at doing basic to intermediate level photo & video editing
  • Email marketing experience preferred, but not required
  • Some travel may be required within the position; to be determined on an as needed basis.
