    Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) sets the standard for cleanroom contamination monitoring. With more than 60 patents, we create the technology that enables our customers to make fact-based decisions, improve process yields and comply with ever-changing regulatory requirements.

    We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to perform duties for the accounts payable function with some cross training for accounts receivable activities.  These responsibilities include:

    • Process payables consistently and correctly according to company policy by securing appropriate approvals and retaining documentation

    • Manage supplier relationships through email and phone communication

    • Reconcile vendor statements to accounting records while investigating and resolving any discrepancies requiring working closely with the purchasing department.

    • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files and reconciling accounts

    • Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes

    • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

    • Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts

    • Generating reports and statements for internal use

    • Assisting with audit support as necessary

    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Requirements:

    • Associates Degree in Accounting

    • Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience performing the above duties

    • Ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.

    • Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis.

    • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and personal accountability

    • Proficient Written and Spoken skills in the English language required.

    • Work well in a team environment while having the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

    • Developed analytical and critical thinking skills.

    • In addition, prior experience in a manufacturing environment, accounts payable and accounts receivable a plus.

    • Computer skills such as ERP, Microsoft applications, email communication and similar.
