Key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, document, and improve continuous integration and deployment systems.
  • Advise and support developers on build and workflow issues, determining software build needs.
  • Evaluate process effectiveness by tracking metrics and identifying areas for improvement in the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and QA to ensure high-quality software releases and solve problems rigorously.

Role Overview:

About the Role:
Design, implement, document and constantly improve the continuous integration and continuous deployment systems and supporting process.
Determine software build and integration needs, advise and support developers on solving build and workflow issues.
Evaluate process effectiveness by tracking and monitoring metrics.
Participate in identifying and evaluating tools and solutions needed to address areas for improvement in the software development lifecycle.
Define standards and procedures, applying automation where possible, in order to create an efficient release pipeline.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify constraints and solve problems rigorously.
Collaborate with QA to ensure high quality of released software.

About you:


Very good to have:

  • Programming - Good understanding of OOP and experience with at least one language like Java, Groovy, C#, Python scripts knowledge

  • Database – Relation database experience with SQL Server (Or MySQL, Oracle)

  • Development tools – JIRA, git (SCM in general)

  • Cloud knowledge – Azure/AWS

  • Docker/Kubernetes

  • OS experience with Windows, Linux and OSX.

  • Shell scripting


Nice to have but can ramp up if necessary:

  • Ansible, Packer

  • Powershell scripting

  • Continues Integration/Delivery tools – Jenkins (Or Team City), Artifactory

  • Front end development – ReactJS

  • VMWare vSphere

  • Web Servers management
