Our team has the responsibility of validating multiple business systems through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the solutions our department implements meet the needs of our internal sales teams, compliance/regulations, external producers, and financial reporting teams to enhance their ability to serve our clients effectively and accurately.
The Agency Management Professional 2 (Finance Systems UAT tester) executes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various processes and software changes within Agency Management.
Provide and complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all variations of implementations of new logic and system upgrades in Agency Management. Includes covering regression testing needs.
Engage with commissions, compliance, and financial reporting groups to build regression tests and project-specific enhancement testing.
Coordinate testing schedules with product owners and SIT to perform UAT during project windows.
Coordinate testing schedules for ticket fixes and off-cycle releases, including drafting testing documentation for usage in Post-Production Validation (PPV).
Create UAT testing plans and test cases to properly validate application logic with focus on end-to-end integrated testing.
Attend daily scrum with developers and product owners to clarify, report, and enhance testing plans.
Log and manage defects coming out of projects and work with business team to resolve issues inside and outside of warranty periods.
Create or maintain testing standard operating procedures after each UAT project.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience.
2 or more years of SIT and/or UAT/QA experience.
2 or more years of SQL and/or MS Access.
2 or more years of financial system analysis and/or reporting experience.
Proficient experience with MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with end-user testing of modernization initiatives (i.e. mainframe to cloud solutions).
Experience with using AI tools to reduce manual testing effort or increasing productivity.
Previous experience insurance and/or healthcare related data.
Knowledgeable with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Familiarity with Test Automation practices and principles or general automation.
