Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering core gameplay with online console focus:
    • Lead core gameplay teams where you'll ensure features are fun, achieve quality and design intent, and project schedule.
    • Champion features that make our souls-like RPGs fun, engaging, and replayable with emphasis on online console player experiences.
  • Crafting online multiplayer:
    • Oversee the creation and polish of key online console features like co-op, PvP, matchmaking, friends, online progression as well as functional elements like voice, cross-play and cross-save.
    • Work with our technical & QA teams, and platforms, to ensure online features are technically solid, stable, perform well, and pass console certification.
  • Guiding your teams & collaborating:
    • Build a positive and collaborative environment where your gameplay teams (designers, programmers, artists, QA) can thrive and deliver their best.
    • Ensure smooth communication and integration between the gameplay team and other departments.
  • Managing production & risks:
    • Handle feature backlogs, sprint planning, and task tracking to keep development smooth and communication clear.
    • Identify and address potential problems or dependencies for gameplay and online features, keeping projects on track and within scope.
Key Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in game production, with a focus on online gameplay development on consoles (e.g., co-op, PvP, matchmaking).
  • You've shipped and operated at least one online PC or console game in a producer role.
  • Solid understanding of gameplay development pipelines, system design, and how to bring engaging player experiences to life.
  • Proficient with project management tools (like Jira) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, iterative game development cycles.
  • Excellent skills in communication, teamwork, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome development challenges.
More bonus points if you:
  • Operated an online multiplayer console game (especially an action RPG).
  • Have a deep passion for and knowledge of souls-like games.
  • Have experience with Unreal Engine in a production capacity.
  • Are familiar with console platform-specific guidelines and certification processes.

Recruitment Process:
  • Once our Talent Acquisition team receives your application, together with the hiring team, we will review your CV, portfolio and the answers you provided in the application form and if all the boxes are ticked, we're moving to the next stage.
  • Initial call with Talent Acquisition Specialist - During this call you'll learn about the company and we learn about you. We'll talk about your experience & expectations with working in a fully remote environment and we'll talk about your expertise. We'll finish this call with some admin questions. There will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions as well.
  • After the initial call, usually 1 or 2 interviews with the hiring team follows. These interviews will be a bit more technical and will go deeper into your experience, skills & knowledge. As you would have signed an NDA by now, you'll also learn a bit more about the project you would work on. During these interviews we'll also focus on finding out whether you're a good fit for our company culture and that we share the same values.
  • We may or may not ask you to do the test - this is decided on an individual basis and you will receive instructions with the test.
  • If everything goes well, the last step in the recruitment process is the offer presentation call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and your future line manager to discuss the offer and next steps to get you successfully on board.
