Key responsibilities:

Independently manage and apply complex Banner upgrades and patches.

Perform installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle databases and Banner modules.

Conduct performance tuning and automation in Linux environments.

Document processes and communicate effectively with team members.

Job role : Banner Database Administrator
Location : Remote
Duration : 3 months

Must-Haves:

Advanced expertise in Ellucian Solution Manager (ESM), with a proven track record of independently managing and applying complex Banner upgrades and patches
Deep Linux system administration experience, particularly in enterprise or higher ed environments (e.g., RHEL), including scripting, performance tuning, and automation
Proficiency in Oracle backup/recovery, tuning, and patching, and experience managing Oracle databases in a Banner ERP environment
Experience with installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle databases and Banner modules
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to learn and work independently.
