DBA PostgreSQL

Responsibilities:

1. Postgres instance Administration and Database management

2. Query performance review and tunning

3. Stored procedures review and performance tunning

4. Define schema designs for Postgres DB as per requirements from application/customer teams as part of approved change requests

5. Creating/Extending schemas, data structures in Postgres as per requirements from application/customer teams as part of approved change requests

6. Work in Singapore time zone from 9 am to 6 pm SGT (8am - 5pm VNT)

Experience:

- 3 years+ of experience as Postgres DBA (Versions: 12, 14 and 15)

- Should have delivered atleast 2 designs on Postgres related projects (RDBMS)

- Should have experience in design and configure schema for Postgres DB

- Should have experience in writing sql queries and scripts on Postgres DB

- Should have experience in Database security concepts and best practices

- Should have experience in database query tunning

- Should possess atleast 1 DBA certifications for RDMS (Oracle, Postgres DB)
