Account Executive, In-Market

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking an Account Executive to join our Hyundai In-Market team!

 

This is a hybrid role, currently x 2 days per week onsite.  Candidates must be local to SoCal.

 

As a core member of INNOCEAN’s In-Market team, the Account Executive collaborates with cross-departmental partners to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of marketing projects. This role is integral in supporting a range of in-market initiatives for Hyundai Motor America, responsible for executing digital media campaigns aimed at consumers currently in the vehicle purchase journey, spanning channels such as paid search, programmatic, social, video, and endemic platforms.


The ideal candidate will bring digital experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and problem-solve. The Account Executive must be able to effectively track and communicate program and campaign changes while ensuring all key stakeholders are aligned on deliverables.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Account Supervisor and Account Director across in-market campaign workstreams.
  • Participate in communications planning and assist with the development of client presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings and reviews, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Communicate client questions and implement timely, effective solutions.
  • Serve as the “assignment expert,” owning project details and status.
  • Guide day-to-day execution of campaigns to ensure milestones are met and schedules are maintained.
  • Help manage agency workflow to deliver projects accurately, on time, and within scope.
  • Maintain and update digital copy decks, delivery trackers, and internal documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communication, including contact reports, status summaries, and timelines.
  • Keep supervisors informed on major project milestones and issues.
  • Anticipate potential project challenges and escalate appropriately.
  • Adhere to both client and agency processes and workflows.
  • Maintain an organized archive of creative assets across platforms and tools.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activity as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support collaboration and execution.
  • Track progress and hold departments accountable to established timelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive client information.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years Account Management experience in an advertising agency.
  • Familiarity with In-Market programs and performance-based digital media is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with workflow or asset management tools is a plus.

Salary range is $69,000–$73,892.  Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
