About this Position

We are seeking a Software Solutions Engineer to support and enhance Primerica’s software configuration management tools, products, etc. This role requires IBM z/OS infrastructure experience, specifically hands-on experience in modifying and maintaining mainframe applications and working with development tools. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Requires excellent communication, organizational and project management skills.

Salary: $110K

Fully Remote

Core Hours 9 AM - 5 PM, M-F Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline source management system
Complete documentation (training and technical)
Work independently and within groups, including various levels of management, system programmers and developers
Work extensively with JCL, REXX, and ISPF (Panels, Skeletons)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging and system optimization
Understanding of security policies, tools and best practices for mainframe environments
Use z/OS USS (Unix System Services) to support distributed functions and applications
