Launch has a global team (50+ team members) supporting a leading Enterprise Technology company, specially within their sales-focused Incentive Programs and Compensation organization. Our team will manage and direct the day-to-day work of our global personnel in the performance of the Services as well as all communication with client on delivery.

Services Overview: There are 8 inter-related workstreams that comprises Incentive Programs and Compensation. Each workstream has a different focus within the value chain. Within the sales-focused Incentive Programs and Compensation workstreams will be comprised of the following core:

  • Plan design – support planning and execution of internal rhythm of business
  • Plan implementation – support plan changes, general quality assurance
  • Quota delivery – distribution, monthly audit, general monitoring and tracking, field support, governance
  • Deal-based compensation – transitions from quota management to implementation and field support
  • Incentive programs – documentations, calculations, payouts and adjustments, large deal governance
  • Incentive analytics – perform quality audits for PowerBI, publish quarterly results, overall quality assurance, various ad hoc report, excel analysis, awards qualification progress

Job Summary: 

As a Business Analyst specializing in Incentive Compensation, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs related to performance incentives. Your focus will be on analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that incentive structures align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to understand incentive strategy, objectives, and requirements.
  • Develop and document business requirements for incentive compensation systems.
  • Analyze compensation data, performance metrics, and sales targets to recommend improvements.
  • Create and distribute documentation and communications related to incentive plans, eligibility, and payment processes.
  • Audit incentive payments to ensure compliance with policies and state regulations.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for field seller inquiries related to compensation plans, incentive program eligibility, and contract value discrepancies
  • Work closely with plan designers to implement compensation plan metrics and analytics.
  • Create and maintain reports
  • Ensure tools accurately reflect allocations and manage necessary changes.
  • Researching prepared internal data files to identify necessary action and communicate research results back to internal teams.
  • Maintain active inbox and respond to general data inquiries within SLA.
  • Run data reports and ensure the validity of data across various sales operations tools and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to incentive compensation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI), including nested functions (VLookups, HLookUps, Pivot Tables, IF/AS Statements)
  • Familiarity with Kusto (KQL) preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Understanding of MSFT Revenue systems, segmentation
  • Willingness to learn additional business processes and context
