Description

We are looking for an excellent Team Leader to join our Core application Team. You will deal with fascinating technological challenges and lead our Team with professionalism to deliver our high-quality products and on challenging timeframes. The Team Lead will lead a team of 8 Software Developers and QA providing direction, support, and motivation. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for developing and mentoring team members, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Working in a hybrid model! ( two days from the office, three days from home. )**


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 8 Engineers and Automation developing services for the Application security platform.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain production-level application code for new and existing services.
  • Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from design to implementation.
  • Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members effectively.
  • Identify and proactively advise on potential risks to success.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the team's work aligns with the organisation's overall goals.
  • Project planning for short, mid, and long terms.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and bring new ideas and solutions to the team.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a team leadership role with hands-on responsibility - Must!
  • A minimum of 5 years in building back-end systems for a web environment in Java -Must!
  • Extensive experience leading design and architecture-related activities.
  • Experience with large-scale environments, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • General knowledge of analytics and Big Data.
  • Excellent English – written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
