Job Description

We are expanding our Business Assurance team, which conducts dairy farm audits, and are now seeking a new colleague with strong knowledge and experience in agriculture and dairy farming.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Lead Animal Welfare Auditor, you will:

  • Conduct on-site audits at farms to ensure compliance with quality programs related to animal welfare, hygiene, and milk quality
  • Manage clear and consistent communication with the client as their local point of contact
  • Plan and manage your own audit schedule
  • Manage a team of auditors and facilitate coaching and training
  • Travel regularly, with occasional overnight stays depending on your location.

Qualifications

Essential:

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Hands-on experience in agriculture, particularly in dairy farming
  • Solid understanding of animal welfare ,
  • Post secondary education in agriculture or similar relevant subject
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge in a respectful and engaging way
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Driving license
  • Good IT skills and comfort with digital tools

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a leadership/managerial position
  • Previous experience in auditing or inspection roles
