We are expanding our Business Assurance team, which conducts dairy farm audits, and are now seeking a new colleague with strong knowledge and experience in agriculture and dairy farming.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Lead Animal Welfare Auditor, you will:

Conduct on-site audits at farms to ensure compliance with quality programs related to animal welfare, hygiene, and milk quality
Manage clear and consistent communication with the client as their local point of contact
Plan and manage your own audit schedule
Manage a team of auditors and facilitate coaching and training
Travel regularly, with occasional overnight stays depending on your location.

Qualifications

Essential:

We’re looking for someone who has:

Hands-on experience in agriculture, particularly in dairy farming
Solid understanding of animal welfare ,
Post secondary education in agriculture or similar relevant subject
Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge in a respectful and engaging way
Proficiency in English, written and spoken
Driving license
Good IT skills and comfort with digital tools

Desirable:

Previous experience in a leadership/managerial position
Previous experience in auditing or inspection roles
