What Global Fraud Risk contributes to Cardinal Health
The primary objective of the Global Fraud Risk team within Internal Audit is to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate fraud risks throughout Cardinal Health.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive fraud risk management framework.
- Participating in fraud risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential fraud risks across various business operations.
- Conducts testing to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of fraud prevention and detection controls.
- Develop and execute data analytics techniques to identify anomalies, patterns and trends indicative of fraud and assist in the design of automated fraud risk monitoring programs.
- Provides insights and guidance on fraud risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Supporting the investigation of suspected fraud cases and provide insights into fraud trends and patterns.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing fraud risk management processes and controls and implement new fraud detection capabilities.
- Staying knowledgeable of emerging fraud trends and industry best practices in fraud risk management.
- Promoting a culture of fraud awareness and prevention including educating employees about fraud risks, encouraging reporting of suspicious activities, and fostering a strong ethical environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 1+ years experience in related field, preferred
- Open to obtaining Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) licensure
