Description

Position Summary:

Collecting, monitoring and studying data. To prepare various financial and budget analyses in the areas of profit planning, capital expenditures and cash flow. Prepare accounting reports and regulatory filings.

Essential Job Functions:

Collects cost of operations by collecting operational data.
Guides cost analysis process by tracking trends and forecasts.
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Prepare, verify and ensure accuracy of the following reports but not limited to:
- Monthly ALCO
- Branch profitability and profile
- Impaired loan
- Federal Reserve collateral
- FR 2900 Weekly reporting
- Trial Balance Reconciling reports
- Loan and deposit performance
- Capital expenditure
- Daily Liquidity Summary
- Weekly Market Summary
- Monthly Fee Reports
- Earnings Ratios Trend
- Liquidity Reports
Maintain spreadsheet templates, gather required report data for NCUA 5300 from various departments and create reports in accounting system;
Prepare and analyze the daily cash report.
Maintain finance databases, management planning and control system by entering and verifying data for reports.
Increase productivity by developing efficient means to gather and report on accounting information; coordinating information requirements.
Provide business and financial analytical support.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

3 years of experience in any position applying analysis, reporting, or accounting related functions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree. Concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must possess exceptional analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Office and finance system skills.
Ability to interact favorably, promote and maintain a positive image of the credit union with staff.
To adequately perform this position, incumbent must have strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
Must possess the ability to handle and execute multiple tasks simultaneously and exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Personal computer with Windows environment. calculator, copy machine, and scanner.

Working Conditions, Equipment, and Physical Demands:

Physical requirements include wrist/hand manipulation, eye/hand coordination.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor and review of documents.
