Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll and Accounting Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll processing and accounting support. Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with Australian Labor laws and superannuation requirements
Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Enter and manage purchase orders and supplier bills in the accounting system
Calculate leave entitlements, permissions, and other employee benefits in line with company policy and statutory requirements
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits
Manage general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management
Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless operations
Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team as required
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a payroll or accounting support role
Strong understanding of Australian payroll regulations and accounting practices
Proficiency in using accounting software; experience with Pronto XI CRM is highly desirable
Experience working with Australian clients is essential
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
