 Job Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a specialization in SQL Server and SSIS (SQL  Server Integration Services) to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize complex database solutions and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL Server and SSIS. You will work closely with other developers and analysts to ensure the efficient and reliable data processing across our systems. 


The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database design, performance tuning, and the ability to develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are  essential for success in this role 


 Role and Responsibilities: •

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and SSIS packages 

• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers 

• Develop ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into our data warehouse 

• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and data integrity problems 

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations 

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for database development  


Requirements

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 

• 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on SQL Server and SSIS 

• Expertise in designing and developing SSIS packages for ETL processes 

• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and query optimization 

• Experience with data warehousing and star schema data models 

• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines 

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
