Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (Pacific Time – Woodland Hills, CA)
Break: Includes a 30-minute paid break
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Tax Preparer to support their growing operations. In this remote role, you’ll manage bookkeeping tasks, prepare tax filings, and contribute to audit readiness—working closely with senior professionals and high-profile clients. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in U.S. accounting and taxation who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping and manage financial records using NetSuite and QuickBooks Online

  • Prepare and file accurate U.S. tax returns for a variety of clients using CCH Access

  • Assist in audit preparations and support audit processes alongside senior staff

  • Manage sensitive financial data with strict confidentiality, especially for high-profile clients

  • Ensure alignment with U.S. accounting standards and evolving tax regulations

  • Communicate effectively with the U.S.-based team during Pacific Time business hours

  • Maintain compliance with data security and firm confidentiality protocols


Qualifications
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online

  • Demonstrated experience in U.S. tax preparation; familiarity with CCH Access required

  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and current federal/state tax laws

  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive financial information

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

  • CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required
