Job description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Sydney Time with 1 hour unpaid break.

Job Type: Full-time


Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage utility payments including electricity, water, council rates and body corporate fees across the property portfolio
  • Enter and validate construction drawdown requests and related documentation
  • Perform payment verification callbacks and maintain payment security protocols
  • Prepare payment files with supporting documentation for director approval
  • Process intercompany transactions between trust entities and asset owners
  • Manage BPay transactions through Parakeet system
  • Enter data into Approval Max system and ensure proper approval workflows
  • Reconcile payments and maintain accurate records in Xero

Scopes:

  • Portfolio of 90+ properties with 4 regular payment types each
  • Processing construction drawdowns for 80+ development projects
  • Managing utility payments for both operational and development properties
  • Coordination with construction accountant for drawdown validations
  • Supporting month-end reconciliation processes



Requirements
  • Experience in accounts payable or similar financial processing role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Proficiency with accounting software, particularly Xero
  • Understanding of payment security protocols and verification procedures
  • Ability to work methodically and maintain organized documentation
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders
  • Experience with batch payment processing preferred
  • Knowledge of property/construction industry payments beneficial
