NEOGEN JOB ADVERT – SENIOR S&OP ANALYST

Neogen is seeking a Senior Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Analyst to support the strategic alignment of supply and demand across our global business. Reporting to the S&OP Lead, this position plays a critical role in enabling cross-functional collaboration through data-driven insights, accurate forecasting, and scenario planning. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, supply chain understanding, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

This position follows a remote work model.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and present data on demand, supply, inventory, and capacity to support S&OP activities across specific business units or product lines.

  • Collaborate with Commercial, Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to understand demand drivers and highlight key variances or risks.

  • Perform root cause analysis of forecast variances and provide recommendations for improving forecast accuracy and reliability.

  • Build and maintain planning models, reports, and dashboards that track key S&OP metrics, such as forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health.

  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decisions during the S&OP cycle.

  • Partner with the S&OP Lead to prepare materials for cross-functional alignment meetings and executive reviews.

  • Recommend and help implement process improvements and best practices across planning and analytics functions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning systems and reporting tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field required.

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or business analytics.

  • Hands-on experience supporting S&OP or integrated business planning processes.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with large datasets.

  • Familiarity with planning tools such as SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly to stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
