Rockstar is recruiting for a stealth-mode healthcare compliance startup that is simplifying the process for entrepreneurs to launch and scale new healthcare businesses. The client’s leadership previously founded and led a national digital health company with over 120 employees, which was acquired by a major industry incumbent. The company’s mission is to empower healthcare innovation by making compliance and operational setup seamless for new healthcare organizations.
About the Company
The client is making it easier for anyone to start and scale new healthcare businesses by simplifying compliance. For healthcare entrepreneurs, the company forms all required healthcare legal entities nationally (known as a PC-MSO structure), connects them with collaborating physicians (as required by law), secures insurance contracts much faster than traditional methods, and offers a portfolio of additional compliance supports. Overall, this process can save each company $100k+ and many months, helping more people innovate in healthcare and enabling more people to receive affordable care.
About the Team
The leadership team previously founded and led a national digital health company with over 120 employees across the US, which was acquired by a 2,000-person incumbent. (The company is still in stealth, so there is limited external information available.)
The ultimate goal of the Client Success team is to create a positive client experience and maintain strong relationships. The team serves as the starting point for client engagement and is passionate about nurturing client relationships.
About the Role
The business is growing quickly, with leading healthcare companies as customers—organizations backed by top Silicon Valley investors such as Sequoia, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, Kleiner Perkins, Stanford, Khosla Ventures, and others. Clients currently serve over 2 million patient lives and manage more than $10 billion in annual medical spend. (Clients include Rise Science, Lumeris, Scan.com, Apos, Eureka, and Mightier, among others.)
With this growth, the company is seeking a Client Success Manager to work directly with leadership. Responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional projects that are top priorities for leadership, working closely with the CEO.
- Driving complex operations projects, including assisting new healthcare groups in organizing across all 50 states.
- Owning relationships with leaders of multi-state healthcare companies, guiding them through onboarding.
- Creatively building processes, structures, systems, and automations to improve efficiency and support scaling.
- Serving as the face of the company to external stakeholders (clients, State Medical Boards, Insurance Payers, Candidates, Physicians).
- Guiding new clients through onboarding, ensuring a seamless start to their journey.
- Managing client communications, including attending meetings, addressing inquiries, and handling calls with professionalism and care.
- Building strong client relationships by fostering trust, delivering a positive experience, and providing proactive, solutions-focused support.
