Create and manage supplier records in the procurement system.
Interface with the Shared Services Center and internal stakeholders to ensure PO compliance and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies and procedures
Place quotes and negotiate terms with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and delivery terms.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for executing tactical tasks within the procurement department, including creating suppliers, interfacing with the Shared Services Center (SSC) for purchase order (PO) compliance, and resolving invoice discrepancies. Additionally, the Purchasing Specialist will perform buyer responsibilities such as placing quotes and negotiating terms with suppliers.
