ProArch is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Functional Tester to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our software applications meet both functional and user requirements through comprehensive testing practices. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements.
Conduct functional testing across various software applications, documenting results, and reporting defects.
Work closely with product owners and development teams to understand features and gather testing requirements.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability of features.
Identify test scenarios for functional, regression, and smoke testing.
Facilitate end-to-end testing processes to ensure application functionality and performance.
Provide recommendations for process improvements based on testing activities.
Mentor junior testers and assist in developing testing strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in functional testing, preferably in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proficient in creating detailed test cases and executing functional tests.
Experience with test management tools like JIRA, Quality Center, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Experience with automation testing tools is preferred but not mandatory.
