Our client is a Australian company specializing in the design, supply, and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. They provide EV drivers with a wide range of high-quality EV chargers, cables, and installation services.
Our client is expanding their local presence in the Philippines and is seeking a seeking a proactive, collaborative and self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
DevOps Strategy & Architecture
• Define and evolve the overarching DevOps roadmap, ensuring our infrastructure and tooling support current and future business needs.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Services
• Architect, implement, and optimize scalable, secure cloud environments (Azure), leveraging Infrastructure as Code for consistency and repeatability.
Infrastructure & Cloud Services

Mentorship & Leadership
• Coach and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with software engineers, QA, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless delivery.
Monitoring & Logging
• Oversee advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, proactively addressing performance bottlenecks and incidents.
Security & Compliance
• Embed security best practices and compliance measures into DevOps workflows, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement
• Identify systemic issues and implement innovative process, tooling, or architecture improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Workplace Health & Safety
• Ensure Workplace Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Other Duties
• Supporting JET Charge technology development as required.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices.
• Proven ability to guide teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive technical initiatives at scale.
• Skilled at diagnosing complex system issues, implementing solutions, and pushing boundaries with new technologies.
• Capable of articulating technical concepts clearly and building consensus among diverse teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments, specifically within sprint-based planning squads.
• Solid Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile principles.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering value within sprint timeframes.
• Someone who will model our values and live our culture.
Advantageous Skills:
• Any certifications related to Azure
