Job Description

Do you have a passion for sports, a strategic mind for marketing, and a heart for helping student-athletes reach their full potential? Crimson Athletics — a division of Crimson Education — is seeking a Marketing Manager to build out and lead our efforts in building the premier brand in collegiate sports recruitment and athlete development.

Crimson Athletics helps student-athletes gain admission to top-tier colleges while competing at the highest levels of collegiate sports. Backed by Crimson Education, the global leader in college admissions, we are on a mission to unlock opportunities for talented athletes by combining elite athletic development with academic excellence.

You will work closely with our U.S. marketing and athletic teams to promote impactful content, events, and partnerships — from webinars and athlete showcases to success stories and personalized campaign outreach. If you're passionate about helping families access life-changing college opportunities through sports and academics, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing Strategy: Design and execute an end-to-end marketing plan that builds brand authority, drives lead generation, and engages both student-athletes and their families.
  • Own Content Creation: Develop persuasive, on-brand content — from ads and email campaigns to video reels, webinars, presentations, and blog posts.
  • Run Campaigns That Convert: Build and manage organic and paid digital and social campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) targeting athletes and parents.
  • Drive Parent Engagement: Craft messaging and campaigns that speak directly to parent concerns, from the recruiting process to college selection.
  • Promote Events & Partnerships: Lead promotion of webinars, showcases, and events, and build partnerships with club teams, coaches, and recruiting platforms.
  • Maintain a detailed and organized events calendar, travel schedule, and post-event documentation.
  • Craft content and presentations for live events and webinars, and act as the host alongside expert speakers, strategists, and former admissions officers.
  • Amplify Our Social Voice: Grow and manage Crimson Athletics’ social presence with daily content that is inspiring, helpful, and strategic.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the athletics strategy and sales teams to align messaging, funnel insights into marketing, and generate high-quality leads.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to track performance, refine strategy, and continually improve campaign effectiveness.

What skills and experience are required?

  •  Have 3–5 years of experience in marketing (ideally in sports, education, or youth development).
  • Are a former student-athlete or coach (preferred, not required) with a passion for college recruiting.
  • Know how to connect with parents making high-stakes decisions for their children.
  • Have a proven track record of creating campaigns that build brand and drive results.
  • A compelling storyteller and writer who can translate expert advice into persuasive messaging.
  • Thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment and enjoy owning your work with a sense of purpose.
  • Comfortable presenting or hosting at events when needed
  • Type A personality - highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
  • Bonus: Familiar with NCAA recruiting, admissions timelines, or tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Google Analytics.

Why work for Crimson?

  • Make a real impact by helping young athletes and their families access life-changing college opportunities.
  • Join a mission-driven team that values integrity, excellence, and innovation.
  • Enjoy creative freedom, collaborative leadership, and the chance to build something truly impactful.
  • Rapidly growing start-up, with a flexible working environment where you will be empowered to structure how you work.
  • Limitless development and exposure - our internal promotions/role changes made up 33% of all recruitment last year.
  • A $ 1,000 individual training budget per year; we love to ‘Level Up’ (it’s one of our core values)!
  • Radical Candor is a feedback approach we live by
  • We’re a global player with 28 markets (and growing) worldwide. Most roles have the option to work from one of our many offices or remotely!

If you're passionate about growing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to work with cutting-edge technology, then we'd love to hear from you!
