This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Mon - Friday 9am PST - 6pm PST with hour break

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial work papers align perfectly with balance sheet requirements
  • Lead comprehensive cleanup initiatives for previous years' financial records, bringing historical data to current standards
  • Manage daily reconciliation processes for credit cards, payments, and bank statements with meticulous attention to detail
  • Oversee inventory management system optimization, including price verification and recipe accuracy maintenance
  • Configure and map journal entries for seamless Toast POS system integration with QuickBooks
  • Monitor and balance automated journal entries flowing from POS systems to accounting software
  • Generate accurate costing reports through precise inventory and recipe management
  • Handle diverse administrative tasks across two restaurant locations with streamlined, identical workflows
  • Grow into expanded responsibilities including event email coordination and operational administrative support

Requirements
  • QuickBooks certification and demonstrated proficiency in accounting software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy in high-volume transaction environments
  • Proven experience with bank reconciliations and comprehensive financial transaction recording
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management platforms (Toast experience preferred)
  • Strong independent work ethic with proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Background in accounts payable, payroll processing, and invoicing procedures
  • Restaurant or food service industry experience highly valued
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, multi-location business environmen
  • Excellent communication skills for direct collaboration with business ownership
