Role Name: Bookkeeper & Administrative Officer
Schedule:
Full-time: Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time

The role offers variety, combining traditional bookkeeping duties with customer relationship management through debt collection activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Handle invoicing and payment processing
Conduct debt collection activities via phone and email on a weekly basis
Follow up on outstanding invoices that are beyond specified payment terms
Manage aged debtors reporting and tracking
Perform administrative tasks including spreadsheet management
Handle filing and receipt organization
Support general administrative functions as needed
Requirements:
Experience in bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payable
Proficiency with financial software (likely QuickBooks Online or Xero)
Strong communication skills for debt collection activities
Experience with spreadsheet management and administrative tasks
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Professional phone manner for customer follow-up calls
Scope:
Remote work arrangement with consistent dedicated hours
Weekly debt collection activities (1-2 times per week)
Supporting a 50-person engineering consulting firm across multiple locations
Working with existing financial officer and administrative team
