We are currently searching for a Senior Advanced Frontend Developer:

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.
Ensure code quality, security, and scalability through reviews and best practices.
Coordinate technical tasks aligned with project deadlines.
Identify and resolve technical challenges and obstacles.
Stay current on emerging technologies and propose innovative improvements.
Support production, coordinate technical labs, and manage release versions.

Requirements:

5+ years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, NestJS, and Next.js.
Experience with OAuth2 and event-driven architecture.
Solid experience with RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
Strong background in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, CDC Testing, PACT).
Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience in financial institutions preferred.
Knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Framework.
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis).
Proficient in Git, GitFlow, Bitbucket, Gradle, Jenkins (CI), and version control best practices.
Familiarity with security concepts (SSL, Certificates, Keystore/Truststore).
Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk).
Tools: JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube, Fortify, Blackduck.

Desired:

Previous experience at Scotiabank, particularly with Digital Factory teams.
Familiarity with SDUI (Server-Driven UI).
Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented principles, and software development best practices.

Languages:

Advanced Oral English (80%).
Native Spanish.
