We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and talented individual to join our team as the Payment System Analyst. The Payments System Analyst is responsible for building, automating, and maintaining modern systems and flows for high value payments. This position reports directly to the SVP, Head of IT Operations and offices onsite from our north Dallas headquarters.
Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to understand and improve flows impacting Fedwire, Swift and Compliance processes in a payments system.
Contribute to the implementation of a modern, world-class payments ecosystem with a focus on high value payments.
Test and implement payment automation through the use of modern payment system rules engine.
Design test cases and test Fedwire and Swift Message processing (e.g., MT103s, MT900s, and soon transitioning to pacs.008, pain.001, camt.053, etc.)
Create process and systems architecture diagrams.
Suggest improvements to process, procedures, and tools.
Organize and effectively communicate work, issues, and resolutions to teammates and management.
Assure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations; and adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields or experience.
3 to 5 years’ payments and/or business system analysis experience with an emphasis on high value payment rails Fedwire and Swift.
Proven experience developing test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for complex payment systems.
Hands on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as SoapUI, Selenium, Postman or custom scripting using Python or Java, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and written communication ability.
Knowledge of newer faster payment networks such as FedNow or RTP.
Knowledge of ISO 20022 framework and data specifications
Understanding and experience with ACH and NACHA.
Deep understanding of data analysis, APIs, and data integrations
Sanction screening and fraud monitoring experience.
