Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Client Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will play a critical part in financial operations and client partnership, helping our businesses operate efficiently and profitably. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop strong relationships with Client Services, and occasionally interface with clients to ensure financial excellence.

Responsibilities:

Be the owner of all things client finance across our three businesses which includes but is not limited to:

  • Accounts Receivable: Managing AR processes, including billing, issuing credits/refunds, collections, and payment application.
  • Reporting: Generating project spend reporting, reviewing project burn reports with PMs, preparing and presenting client profitability to client directors, analyzing pipeline, and other ad hoc analysis
  • WIP and OOP Management: Oversee Work-in-Progress and Out-of-Pocket (OOP) reporting and billing.
  • Rate Card and Role Administration: Maintain and manage rate cards and role classifications in project management tools and pricing tools.
  • Job Creation: Ensure each scope of work is properly tracked and classified and has corresponding job number in all relevant systems (NetSuite, Screendragon, Clickup)
  • Scope Review: Review statement of works to ensure favorable financial terms
  • Revenue Forecasting: Meet with PMs each week to update project revenue forecasts and ensure accurate and insightful guidance on state of the business
  • Monthly Close Assistance: Support close processes, including revenue entries
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with Client Services, Finance, and Operations teams and communicate financial insights effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within an agency or creative services business.
  • Expertise in Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Clickup, Hubspot, and/or Screendragon a plus
  • Understanding of project-based business billing and financial systems.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
