Part-time Remote Bookkeeper

This is a remote position.

• Record financial transactions in accounting software.
  
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  
• Maintain general ledgers.
  
• Assist with the monthly report.
  
• Assist with payroll processing and submissions.
  
• Perform reconciliations of petty cash, expense claims, and vendor statements.
  
• Support the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
  
• Maintain accurate and organised financial records for audit purposes.
  
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors when necessary.
  
• Perform administrative duties related to finance as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software, Sage Online.
  
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  
• Familiarity with VAT and tax compliance processes.
  
• Experience with payroll systems and submissions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
