Summary

WorkForce Software (WFS) is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join a global Learning and Development team building the WorkForce Academy, our Learning Management System (LMS) with meaningful and engaging courses. This individual will be adept at using learning design tools and software to produce human-centered experiences to develop and practice skills. The right candidate efficiently gathers technical information, determines the most appropriate delivery method for content, and converts the information into learning products that blend instructions, demonstrations.


Responsibilities

  • Forge a robust collaboration with the Learning & Development team to craft tailored learning experiences and solutions. This includes eLearning, micro-learning videos, job aids, in-person and virtual classroom experiences, and performance support tools
  • Connect with WFS business leaders and subject matter experts to gather content to be designed, determine performance requirements and advise best learning practices
  • Offer insights into WorkForce Software products release cycles to elevate the WorkForce Academy learning curriculum
  • Perform rigorous quality assurance for all learning product development and coordinate the organization of curriculum
  • Execute content creation that encompasses knowledge of adult learning theories, curriculum design principles, and blended learning, enhanced engagement and purposeful practice and application of learning
  • Prioritize measurable skills development in learning product development
  • Apply measures of ‘learning program’ value with performance objectives, course evaluations, learner data, and WFS business goals to guide learning product maintenance
  • Regularly engage in creative feedback loops, team building and skill development to strengthen alignment with Learning and Development goals


Requirements

  • 5+ years developing measurable, effective and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences and curriculum
  • Expert with authoring tools: Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, SnagIt, Photoshop, Adobe Express, and other tools within Adobe Suite
  • Ability to design relevant and clear assessments for diverse audiences
  • Minimum 3 years adult training or teaching experiences
  • Strong skillset in video creation and editing
  • Apply instructional design principles, curriculum development and curation, and adult learning theory
  • Gather and assimilate technical information and translate it into content with measurable performance objectives that meet customer needs
  • Determine effective layout, design, and interactivity for learning content within established brand guidelines
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to publishing eLearning solutions to a Learning Management System
  • Prioritize multiple design projects, leading meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and remaining organized
  • Be flexible, foster teamwork, and adapt to changing environments
  • Work independently while remaining an effective and efficient member of cross-functional teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Enjoys sharing and receiving feedback
  • Passionate about advancing knowledge of instructional design tools and practices.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
