Job description

Digital Designer Media Campaigns & Ad Design

Overview:

Metro Parent Magazine is seeking a Digital Designer with a strong understanding of digital marketing, advertising, and campaign execution to join their team. This role requires someone who can create engaging media kits, digital ads, newsletters, and campaign assets, while also understanding UTM codes, social media best practices, and digital performance tracking.

The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design, digital advertising, e-editions, and email marketing, with a keen ability to create visually compelling content that drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Campaign & Ad Creation

· Design high-impact digital ads with strong Call-to-Actions (CTAs) for client campaigns.

· Develop media kits and sales collateral to support marketing and sales efforts.

· Create engaging visual content for social media, websites, and digital promotions.

· Work on e-blast designs for newsletters and promotional campaigns.

2. E-Edition & Newsletter Design

· Layout and design e-editions and digital publications.

· Format and insert display ads into e-edition layouts.

· Design newsletters and email marketing templates, ensuring alignment with branding and engagement best practices.

3. Branding & Marketing Support

· Assist in the development of branding materials and marketing collateral for various digital campaigns.

· Design and package sales sheets and promotional materials for new product rollouts.

4. Platform & Software Expertise

· Work within HubSpot for email and marketing automation.

· Apply knowledge of UTM tracking and analytics to ensure accurate reporting and optimization of digital campaigns.

· Utilize Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva for high-quality design production.

Software & Tools:

Candidates MUST have hands-on experience with the following:

· Adobe InDesign for e-editions, marketing collateral

· WordPress for website updates, content formatting

· HubSpot for email campaign design and scheduling

· Google Drive products Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.

· Google Analytics basic understanding of performance tracking

· AI tools for content enhancement and automation

· Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for ad design and social media graphics
