Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Manager in Building Automation located in Boxborough, MA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and development of our building automation products. Daily tasks include overseeing product lifecycle management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, defining product requirements, and managing product launches. The role requires close interaction with engineering, sales, marketing, and customers to ensure successful product outcomes.
Qualifications
Product Management: Experience in lifecycle management, product development, and market research
Technical Expertise: Understanding of building automation systems, sensors, and related technologies
Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting and reporting
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making
Project Management: Capable of managing timelines, resources, and project deliverables
Customer Focus: Understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into product requirements
Experience in the building automation industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
