Job description

This is a remote position.

Perform bookkeeping tasks as required.  

Record day to day financial transactions and maintain accurate records.  

Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.  

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.  

Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.

Compute and record numerical data.  

Check the accuracy of business transactions.  

Perform data entry and administrative duties.  

Attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills  

Comfortable communicating with customers via email or phone.  

Working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance  

Process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.  

Requirements

Technologies and knowledge:  

  • QuickBooks desktop and online 
  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Google Suite and Microsoft Office software 

 

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping positions 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a closely related field (desired) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English 
  • Adapt to changing priorities, troubleshoot, take initiative.
