The Opportunity

Are you ready to jumpstart your career in accounting? Join our team as an Accounting Intern for an 8-month contract beginning in September 2025. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of three key functions: Invoicing, Accounts Payable (AP), or Credit & Accounts Receivable (AR). You’ll work alongside industry professionals, develop key skills, and contribute to the overall company’s success in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Who You Are

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Office Administration, or a related field — we’re also open to other educational backgrounds with relevant skills or experience.
Eager to learn with a positive attitude — you're open to feedback and thrive in new situations.
A team player with a friendly, can-do mindset who enjoys tackling a variety of tasks.
Experienced in fast-paced environments and known for your attention to detail.
A clear communicator who works well with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

What You’ll Do

You will be assigned to one of the following key functions:

Invoicing Team:

Assist in creating, processing, and distributing invoices.
Resolve inquiries, including issuing debits and credits to address discrepancies.
Update and adjust sales orders per approval.

AP Team:

Review, process, and organize invoices while calculating payment dates.
Match invoices to order numbers or GL numbers.
Respond to supplier and customer inquiries to ensure smooth transactions.

Credit/AR Team:

Process cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
Resolve payment discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
Prepare reports, maintain account profiles, and assist with credit applications.
Notify management of any concerns with late payments or account performance.
