Job description

  • Configure Linux servers as per requirements2. Troubleshoot issues related to Linux Servers3. Have experience with other distributions such as RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, Others4. Update patches on the servers5. Upgrade servers to latest versions6. Performance monitoring and troubleshooting7. Strong knowledge on configure failover IP configuration8. Working with vendor during sev 1 issuesSatellite server:9. Creating content view and publish content view10. Managing hosts and host groups11. Upgrade satellite version as per requirement12. Managing activation keys 13. Troubleshooting connectivity issues between client to satellite server14. Strong knowledge and must have hands-on experience on AIX, VIO and HMC15. VIO upgrades/adapter firmware upgrades/VIO failover/maintenance procedures16. HMC updates/frame upgrades/Live partition mobility/DLPAR/troubleshooting HMC issues17. Install and configure AIX operating systems and servers.18. Support AIX OS to run various software applications.19. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS.20. Flexibility to work outside of Business Hours to support any critical issues21. Knowledge on and ability to follow Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process.22. Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting prioritiesExcellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams1. ITIL Certification2. Any Technical CertificationStrong communication and interface skills
