Summary/Objective

Grunt Style's wholesale business is expanding rapidly, and we are on a mission to amplify our brand through a growing network of premium specialty retail partners. As the Sales Manager, Specialty Retail, you will own the day-to-day sales operations and growth for our boutique and independent account base. You'll leverage technology (Shopify, B2B, Klaviyo email marketing) and cross-functional teams to build scalable sales systems, support custom and corporate programs with institutional buyers (military, fire, police), and drive exceptional sell-through.


Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


1. Account Management & Growth

· Manage and grow a portfolio of specialty retail accounts across North America

· Identify, qualify and onboard new premium partners that align with Grunt Style’s values and target customers

· Support custom/corporate sales programs for institutional buyers—ensuring best-in-class responsiveness and solutions

· Leverage Shopify B2B and Klaviyo to automate outreach, track pipeline and scale growth

· Act as the face of Grunt Style: build lasting relationships, influence change and advance brand positioning in specialty channels


2. Strategic Planning & Forecasting

· Build seasonal sales plans; analyze performance; forecast demand in partnership with demand and product teams

· Monitor market and competitive trends to uncover new business opportunities


3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems

· Collaborate with marketing, operations, customer service and planning teams to ensure seamless execution and strong sell-through

· Create and deliver compelling sales presentations for dealers, internal stakeholders and executive leadership

· Lead trade-show strategy, execution and follow-up; cultivate buy-group and industry relationships


4. Trade Marketing & Merchandising Solutions

· Work with Merchandising and Trade Marketing teams to define and deploy improved in-store display solutions for independent and specialty dealers

· Develop seasonal assortments and store-ready presentation kits in partnership with product and creative teams

· Coordinate joint promotions, POS displays and co-op campaigns that reinforce Grunt Style’s brand story

Work Environment & Physical Demands

· Remote role with standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer)

· Frequent travel for trade shows, store visits, and market weeks

· May involve prolonged standing, talking, hearing, and light physical activity during events


Position Type & Hours
Full-time; standard business hours with flexibility for events and travel

Required as needed to support accounts, attend trade shows, and facilitate dealer relationships


Required Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 5+ years wholesale sales experience in apparel or consumer goods

· Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing revenue

· Existing relationships in the specialty retail space a major plus

· Deep understanding of retail merchandising, sell-through strategy, and channel dynamics

· Highly organized, analytical, and proactive

· Willingness to travel for trade shows, store visits, and market weeks
