Job Summary

Responsible for leading a team of Software Development Engineers in the planning and designing of software and web applications. Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development and meeting of departmental budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

People Development and Leadership​

  • Personnel Leader, coach, mentor responsible for technical and professional growth​

Manage Engineering Teams​

  • Monitors team member performance, identify issues that may impact individuals' ability to deliver quality or timelines​
  • Ensure that team are trained and compliant with best practices​
  • Consult with team members during PI Planning events as needed​
  • Works with team as needed to assist in removing blockers, mitigating risks, or dependencies. Holds themselves and the team accountable for all deliverables.
  • Understands agile software development life cycle, various agile artifacts and managing regular delivery of working code.

Strategic Leader​

  • Regularly collaborate with Architecture and Product 
  • Work with Architecture to prioritize enabler features​
  • Actively monitors emerging technologies and industry trends to guide their teams in adopting innovative solutions that enhance productivity and product quality​
  • Coordinates deployments and releases for the platform with other leaders and business stakeholders​
  • Manage change management process
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $102,451.20 USD-$240,120.00 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
