Payments Operations Specialist

This role is hybrid in Kraków (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

We are looking for a payments specialist to join our Payments team at Papaya Global.

The role includes:

  • Be the first port of call for payment related queries and concerns
  • Investigating and responding to payment queries from internal and external parties
  • Monitoring of payments execution and resolving any issues
  • Working with 3rd party payment providers to resolve queries
  • Ensuring payments/reports are loaded on to the system correctly and timely
  • Provide and maintain exceptionally high levels of customer service
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the payments and customer service teams as we continue to scale


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in a STEM subject
  • 2+ years of work experience in a financial services customer-facing role, preferably B2B
  • Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
  • Proactive and creative in problem-solving
  • Ability to multitask and work under stressful conditions
  • Understanding of payments systems and settlement cycles
  • Proficient in tools like Salesforce, Microsoft offi
