Key responsibilities:

  • Field-based role focusing on professional autonomous turf care products and technology.
  • Develop relationships with professional end customers and collaborate with the Husqvarna dealer network.
  • Conduct site surveys, product demonstrations, and follow up on leads generated online and at events.
  • Provide dealer training and prepare sales quotations, including lease and servicing packages.

Pro Robotics Key Account Manager (South West)

Role Description

An exciting position in a strategic area of the business, disrupting traditional turf care maintenance with new robotic lawnmower technology. Focusing on professional turf maintenance in golf, sports pitches, facility management and landscaping.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

Field based role working with the professional autonomous turf care products within the Husqvarna UK business. A key area for growth with industry leading technology.

Covering areas; South West, South Wales, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex.

The candidate will be working with professional end customers in collaboration with the Husqvarna dealer network to develop the product category in golf, sports pitches, facility management and landscaping. A sales focused role with an expectation to develop a strong technical understanding of the technology.

  • Relationship building with key professional accounts. E.g. golf courses, facility management, sports clubs.
  • Site survey for golf courses, sports pitches, facilities
  • Product demonstration
  • Lead follow up. Leads generated online and at events. All tracked in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Dealer training; Sales training
  • Sales quotation including lease and servicing packages
  • Working in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions
  • Travel within focus area with the possibility of overnight stays, some international travel may be required for training purposes

Additional Skills/Qualifications Required

  • Sales experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely
  • Previous experience of machinery sales in the groundcare, garden machinery or agricultural sector would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and a relationship builder
  • Willingness to work in a demanding and customer focussed environment
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office including CRM
  • Full UK driving licence
