• Ingest and analyze investor rate sheets daily to ensure accurate and timely updates to internal pricing models.
• Generate daily rate sheets for internal and external distribution, ensuring accuracy and alignment with margin strategies.
• Monitor and manage product-specific and investor-specific margins based on market trends, investor competitiveness, and company profit goals.
• Work closely with the Capital Markets and Secondary teams to execute pricing strategies that support revenue and growth objectives.
• Review and process pricing concession requests, balancing competitiveness with profitability and policy guidelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product Development teams to align pricing strategies with market demands and operational capabilities.
• Track pricing trends and competitor behavior to provide insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
• Maintain and update margin management tools and systems; ensure pricing systems are functioning accurately.
• Ensure pricing and margin decisions are compliant with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in investor calls and pricing discussions to gather insights and improve rate positioning.
• Identify opportunities to streamline pricing workflows and improve pricing accuracy and delivery speed.
• Provide training and support to Sales and Operations on pricing-related tools, strategies, and updates.
• Maintain documentation related to margin policies, pricing procedures, and concession tracking.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, or Pricing within the mortgage industry.
• Strong understanding of non-QM mortgage products and investor guidelines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting investor rate sheets and pricing matrices.
• Prior experience with pricing engines such as Optimal Blue, MCT, or similar platforms preferred.
• High attention to detail with excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including working knowledge of complex formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to mortgage pricing and disclosures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
