Job description

The Media Analyst plans, executes and optimizes advertising campaigns across various channels. This role will create and manage effective paid advertising strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic DSPs, as well as use Google Analytics to provide reporting and analysis. The Media Analyst will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and a proven tracker record of driving results through paid search and social media campaigns.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and report on programmatic advertising campaigns for clients in conjunction with monthly direct mail campaigns.
  • Optimize and report on paid search, display, video, and paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword and audience research and make budget recommendations.
  • Deploy, test, and manage tracking pixels and tags.
  • Optimize campaigns using new and existing tactics, including creative bidding, quality scores, landing page testing, funnel analysis, web analytics and machine learning.
  • Use data and analytics to derive insights, develop hypotheses, and generate test plans aimed at meeting and exceeding KPIs.
  • Understand client business models and competition and apply this knowledge to improve campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular reports using data from multiple sources, including ad platforms and web analytics tools.
  • Assist with development, management and execution of email marketing campaigns for multiple clients.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
  • Use marketing automation tools to enhance campaign delivery and customer engagement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Sciences, or Economics preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns, including Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Ability to use data analysis to derive insights, draw conclusions, and make decisions and recommendations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Time management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities.
