Summary of the Job:

  • Credit Control Activities: Manage credit control activities as a key member of the composit onshore and offshore team and ensure timely and efficient operations according to the internal rules.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliation of the selected balance sheet items especially on insurance and reinsurance receivables and payables to ensure accurate financial reporting and robust control in place.
  • Ensure to comply with tax regulations to submit declarations on witholding taxes and operational taxes in a timely manner.
  • Support local Accounting manager and team members, and Accounting colleagues worldwide as a member of the Acounting team to facilitate smooth operations within Accounting and with internal stakeholders, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement on data, reporting, and processes.

 

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills:

  • Accounting experience in non-life insurance company
  • Basic knowledge for income tax return preparation
  • Familiar to GL system, Windows, Teams, Office application,etc.
  • Sufficient communication skills with written and oral English
  • Sufficient knowledge to cope with the regulator
  • Laguage: Japanese and English

Education:

  • Universitiy degree in Economics, Commerce or Business, etc.
