We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our Orthopedic clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
Check-in and Check-out patients
Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Orthopedic and Back-office experience a plus
Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred
