Job Description

 Solution Architect 
Participate in the design or modification of BSS/ OSS architecture to meet certain business needs. The incumbent will test, integrate, and program software systems to ensure that specific business issues are solved.  
 The role:  
  •   Work with all levels of business stakeholders to understand current processes and challenges, and new initiatives and propose operationally sound solutions to improve business processes in meeting requirements.
  •  Translate high-level customer/business requirements into technical specifications and work with the development team and/or vendors to deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions. 
  •  Liaise with PMO, IT Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering teams in project delivery, quality assurance through testing, and supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies. 
  •  Provide technical and/or domain advice and expertise to improve and drive quality in Software Development Life Cycle phases, including Testing and Release Management. 
  •  Provide support to audit exercises and work with stakeholders to address audit findings

  •  Deliver accurate cost and effort estimates for the design and development phase in partnership with the business analysts, PMO, subject matter experts, and solution providers for complex projects. 
  •  Assist Head of Solutions in strategic planning for system architect and business processes to support business growth and transformation.

  •  Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent
  • Preferable 6-8 years of related working experience in solution design and architecture, implementing and maintaining IT systems 
  • Domain knowledge with at least 5 years of working experience in Telco IT systems will be desired 
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and written/verbal communication skills 
  •  Pro-active, independent, resourceful, able to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision  
  • Meticulous at analysis/design documentation  
  •  Positive disposition with the ability to work well with all functional levels within the organization    
  • Minimum business travel to regional countries is expected
