Job description

Founding CPO/CTO at SeenCulture | Shining a light on untapped potential Remote / Hybrid | 4–5 days/week | Equity Role Accepting applications! Read to the end to apply via email. About SeenCulture We’re an early-stage startup with a mission to shine a light on untapped potential, in service of a greater vision, to create a world where everyone feels seen. We do this through human-centered feedback, perception profiling, and team analytics. Think Moneyball for work teams. We’ve launched, signed paying customers, built a strong brand, and are VC-backed. I'm looking for a brave builder to be my complementary counterpart: to lead product development, while I lead business development. Someone who vibes with our vision and values, and thrives in a startup team. Someone that our team can depend on and trust to help us take SeenCulture to the next level.

We’ve got strong momentum. The product is showing early virality signals. Top users are sending 60 invites from day one on SeenCulture. Both within and outside of their companies. It’s WILD. We have a huge opportunity to double down on this flywheel. This is where YOU come in. The Role This isn’t just a tech role—it’s a founding seat at the table. You’ll help shape the product direction of a purpose-driven company, lead product development and delivery, and build tools that genuinely change how people are recognised and grown in the workplace. You'll wear many hats across product, engineering, design, and customer experience to deliver thoughtful, inclusive, and effective product outcomes. It won't be easy, but for the right person it will be incredibly fulfilling. A product mindset is non-negotiable. Ideally you can code. You can definitely build with AI. If you can't code, you've got to be able to collaborate closely with engineers and manage them. What You’ll Be Doing Leading product strategy, roadmap, and delivery—turning insight into actionRunning lean experiments and building prototypes to validate learning quicklyBuilding and scaling a product organisation from scratchDesign and build hybrid human-AI teams (for us, our product and customers)Collaborating across engineering, CX, UX, and design to deliver human-centred experiencesTracking impact through product analytics, customer feedback, retention, and advocacyCreating compounding value through a flywheel of usage, trust, and outcomes What You’ll Bring You might come from engineering, product, or startup leadership—but what matters most is that you: Have hands-on experience leading B2B SaaS product development in a startup environmentAre willing to roll up your sleeves, and know when to scaleThrive on clarity, curiosity, and customer outcomesBalance technical fluency with strategic judgmentCommunicate clearly and calmly across functionsDeeply care about building tools that reduce bias and amplify human potentialA focus on CSAT, NPS, PMF, and PLG 🚫 You don’t need to tick every box. If this speaks to you, we want to hear from you. Nice-to-Have (Not Need-to-Have): Experience with HR tech, people analytics, or 360 feedback toolsAbility to code in our tech stack Familiarity with tools like PostHog and Mixpanel Our Tech Stack Frontend: React, TypeScriptBackend: Node.js, PrismaDatabase: Supabase (PostgreSQL)Infrastructure: Vercel, RailwayTools: PostHog, SendGrid, Typeform, Figma, Notion, Miro Why Join SeenCulture Be part of a purpose-driven, early-stage company with paying customers and VC backingCo-create the product and team —with deep influence on strategyEarn significant early equity in a company addressing systemic workplace inequityWork with a founder who respects your autonomy, trusts your expertise, and leads with empathy Compensation & Benefits Significant founding equity — become a true owner in our missionBase salary: $180k–$220k AUD pro-rata, depending on experienceFlexible working arrangement — remote, hybrid; we’ll work with your rhythmOpportunity to shape future compensation structures as we grow Our Commitment We’re building SeenCulture to uncover and grow potential in everyone—and that starts with our team. We strongly encourage applications from people who are underrepresented in tech, including women, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ folks, migrants, neurodivergent individuals, and people with disabilities. We’re open to flexible working arrangements, neuro-inclusive practices, and making this role work for the right person. How To Apply Email hello@seenculture.com with the subject line "CPO/CTO Application" and it will come directly to me, Nikki Tugano. Using your own words (i.e. not ChatGPT's) tell me what draws you to SeenCulture and this opportunity. What matters more is your will than your skill***
